Your Next Critical Move
We get pulled into a million different directions every day.
Something broke, so-and-so is upset, Susan wants a refund, the website has a glitch, etc.
At the end of the week you sit back and reflect. You were busy 8-10 hours a day but what did you actually accomplish? What progress did we make to grow the business?
This is the trap. Busy is not the same as forward.
So I’m rolling out a new tool to help: the “Next Critical Move” (NCM for short).
The hard part isn’t focusing. It’s knowing what to focus on. Pick the wrong move and you can grind for 60 days with nothing to show for it.
Pick the right one and the whole business shifts.
The NCM is the move that, once done, makes the next 3-5 things easier or unnecessary.
Hire the right GM and three other “priorities” go away. Fix your intake process and the refund complaints stop. Close one wholesale account and you stop chasing ten small ones.
That’s the move you lock in. Everything else is noise until it’s done.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Capture Everything: list every potential move that could help grow your business.
Step 2: Score Each: separate the signals (real growth) from the noise (busywork dressed up as progress).
Step 3: Commit: lock in the move, define what “done” looks like, and set a deadline.
Then you ignore everything else until that one is finished.
On yesterday’s call, I went through the entire theory and step-by-step process.
Watch the call here and download a copy of the sheet
Post your current NCM in Skool. If you’ve got a few and aren’t sure which one to lock in, post all of them with your thinking and I’ll give you my take.
Excited to help you guys crush your next move!
Cheers!
Brian
P.S. We've completely revamped the Wednesday calls. This video goes over the changes. We're doing live coaching & implementation sessions instead of Q&A
