Copy-paste is the whole point
I turned down a deal last month.
It was a great price in a good market and owner who was highly motivated.
The problem? It was two buildings with a weird layout.
It was also on a side street, a block away from the major retail.
Maybe we could’ve made it work
But in scaling my business to 36 locations, I’ve learned one thing:
Copy-paste is the whole point.
That’s what makes franchising work. Every location needs to look & function as similar as possible.
Same pricing, equipment, & processes.
Simplicity scales and complexity fails.
It’s simple to walk into every location and have it feel the same
It’s complex if every location runs a unique playbook.
Complexity pulls you back into the day-to-day while simplicity frees you from it.
The goal isn’t to own a bunch of different businesses.
The goal is to replicate one business that runs without you.
Cheers!
Brian
P.S. If you’re building multiple locations but still feel like you bought yourself 3 jobs instead of 1 business — I help owners build systems that actually scale. 9 spots remain for June. Reply “SIMPLE” and let’s fix that.
